Varsity Estates
The Varsity Estates project transforms a 50-year-old Mid-Century Modern home by renowned architect Gord Atkins—set on a terraced lot—into something that feels more like a Manhattan penthouse. It all started with tracking down the original blueprints in the Glenbow Museum archives and bringing those drawings back to life. The original architecture used strategically placed windows and skylights and our design preserved the beauty of natural lighting through creating glass walls and partitions. This was a complete gut and rebuild of a 4600 sq ft home.
